Xplore FCU Hosting Diaper Drive for JLNO Diaper Bank
NEW ORLEANS, LA (September 27, 2021) — Xplore Federal Credit Union, will be hosting a diaper drive in support of the Junior League of New Orleans (JLNO) Diaper Bank for Diaper Needs Awareness Week. Diapers, adult incontinence products, and closed wipes, will be collected at Xplore’s three local branches from September 27th through October 1st during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.). Between 2019-2020 the Junior League of New Orleans Diaper Bank donated 1,000,000 diapers to women and children in the New Orleans Metropolitan area. In the midst of Hurricane Ida recovery, JLNO Diaper Bank is working with local community organizations to continue supporting families locally, as well as sending supplies to those in farther reaching areas that were heavily impacted.
“In the recovery stages of Hurricane Ida, the need for supplies in our community has grown. Over the next few months Xplore will continue to partner with local nonprofits that we know support our community year-round, and have the resources to provide immediate impact,” said Amanda Credeur, Xplore FCU Business Development Manager. “Partnering with JLNO for Diaper Needs Awareness Week is a great way to gather donations as well as advocate for this community program that works diligently year-round for local families.”
Diapers, closed wipes, adult incontinence products, and closed diaper creams can be dropped off at any of the three Xplore FCU branches Monday, September 27th through Friday, October 1st during normal business hours (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.): 5500 Veterans Blvd in Metairie, 221 Veterans Blvd in Metairie, and 701 Poydras St. in New Orleans.
